Look back...

These are photos from when we traveled back east for my cousin Wheeler's wedding. What an amazing time we had! I was so shocked that I hadn't put anything up from the trip, so that's why its time to look back! The first photo below is from my Uncles house looking out of the bay, amazing amazing amazing. I would love to go back and enjoy some fun in the sun on the dock!
This is the front door to my Uncle's house, adorned with a fantastic hydrangea wreath (one of many many!)
This is an old shop close to where we were staying...

A view of the bay from our cute boutique hotel...

ARFotography

After I posted the "is it summer yet" photo, I couldn't wait to get some more photos up from this very interesting, unique photographer Rosie Hardy of "ARFotography". I love the muted colors and antique feel...it inspires me to become handy with photoshop! Also, we are headed to Hawaii in a couple weeks, and the shot of the beach just gets me so excited!

Before & Afters...

On my daily peruse of "Better Homes and Gardens" I came across some fantastic before and afters. I had to do some double takes because I was in disbelief that they were the same rooms...I of course am in love with the afters, I hope to do the same one day to some shabby room I might find myself in...

Tucker's Birthday

Well the not so small Tucker is one! His birthday was two weekends ago, we celebrated with some cupcakes and ice cream. He is a very good dog, has his moments of disobedience but all around a pretty happy go lucky pup! The pound where Sam had gotten him estimated he would not grow past about 40 pounds...well he is now about 100 pounds and very big! So much for a medium sized dog. We took him for a long cross country ski this past weekend to get out and enjoy the gorgeous Saturday. Good thing we took advantage of the weather because it is now raining and overcast...no fun!

Color Board...I'm in love

This muted jewel toned color board was found on the blog "100 Layer Cake"... I just love the combination of colors! Thank you for the inspiration 100 Layer Cake!

I have been wanting some fun new spring shoes, and look at all the options I have! I have been getting my hopes up that soon winter will be gone...the long light days, birds a chirpin' and the great feeling of walking outside without an arsenal of winter clothes. In my summer loving opinion, winter couldn't end soon enough! Anyway from top to bottom we have: Seychelles, Keds, Old Navy, Diesel, Keds, Me Too, and Roxy...

Lily and Co. blog

This is some photos from the store...

Finally Lily and Co. has a presence on the web! No online shopping yet, but at least they have a blog...! Courtney has been doing an excellent job updating it with fun info and stuff to check out, so scoot on over to the site! Photos courtesy of Lily and Co.

Eddie Ross

I have found yet another very fun and inspiring blog that is a must see. You may have been fans like I was of Bravo TV's Top Designer show. I am very excited to find one of the contestants own blogs! Eddie Ross has all sorts of neat information to share, I especially like the post about accessorizing a dresser. I have always struggled finding the right mix of accessories to display...is it to much? not enough? no texture/no variety etc...so for this post he breaks down his method for making this dresser look simple and pulled together with lots of visual appeal. Anyway, check him out...all the pictures are from his site...

Ruffles

I have always been one to love ruffles, and it seems that I can find them everywhere now! I have collected a selection of some good ruffled products, I am trying to be good and not purchase lately, so these are for me to view and view only!

The ruffle curtain above is from Shabby Chic. If I had a shower that required a curtain, this would be it! I love it... light, simple and a touch of fun with the ruffles!
Found at Etsy, this $30.00 clutch has a great simple design, with the herringbone fabric, black ruffles and crystal detail. Very cute!
The ruffle pillow again from etsy is a screamin' $14.00...to bad I don't have a mansion to decorate, I could pretty much fill it with all the home goods I buy...This pillow I only looked at, not purchased (for once!).
This cute ruffle shirt was found on esty as well (here is the link to the 'store')...there are numerous, extremely talented people making some amazing things on etsy. Inspiration can be found all over the site!
