you'll {heart} too!

So, I am going to try and pull together my favorite finds around the web every Friday in my first series called "you'll {heart} too! There are so many many great things out there that need to be shared, and I need to keep organized, and lastly to introduce you to some of my favorite reads... so, here are my {hearts} of the week: (click below photo for the full post, these are just previews!)

I hope you enjoyed, have a lovely weekend!

I did it!

After months and months of talking about making a landing site to organize my blog/shop/twitter life, I did it (its a very simple landing site, baby steps)! I have no clue how I found "" but what an amazing site! When they claimed it was easy, it was. When they claimed they had tons of different templates, they did. And what kept me up at night was trying to figure out whether my domain "" would actually send visitors to this landing site, it did!

I had so much fun checking out all the different templates, and almost decided to switch from my Etsy site to just having an e.commerce site, but I just love Etsy! However - my question to you is - would you rather have my creations on Etsy to buy or on my own e.commerce site? you all are really the ones I am concerned with!

If you are looking to have a website that is professional, flexible and totally custom - check out, I am in love - and the best thing about it, the basic services are free!

DwellSudio for Target

Another example as to why I love Target. check out their DwellStudio collection! These pillows (and the entire collection really) are fantastic, & at fantastic prices - what could be better?!
Oh, and this headboard... if I wasn't so determined to make my own headboard, then this would be high on my wishlist!

Winner & new wreath!

Thank you all so very much for your wonderful comments on the giveaway, I loved reading your posts and comments. It is always nice to hear from the quiet readers of the site - anyway, I am very happy to announce the winner........

Lucky number 19, who happens to be my absolutely fabulous cousin Sarah! whoo hoo Sarah, congrats! Let me know your address and your dishes will be on their way!On another note, here is one of the wreaths I just finished up. I have already admitted that I am a grey/cream-o-holic (hence the color choice) - so if you like the wreath but want some more color, I am always up to create anything custom! I will get it up in my store by the end of the day...

Crafter's 'costco'

I have spent way way way to much time cruising around '' that I decided I should get everyone else hooked on it too, then maybe I won't feel so bad... I find myself saying every two minutes - yes I do need these branches, these pedestals, these vases... and so on. Do I? No, but when I do I know where to find them! I have yet to order from the site, so I can't vouch for them in that respect, but I will say they have a mighty fine collection of goods! Happy Friday!

Again click here for the GIVEAWAY, you have till Monday to enter!

Oh, and I have been working on some new - you guessed it - wreaths... so stay tuned for those!

September Vhay

I wanted to highlight a local artist that is really amazing, and becoming quite famous. I had my favorite ladies over at Chic Coles in mind when I decided to post about this talented artist, they love Equine art, and I thought they should add this to their portfolio! Each piece reminds me so much of home, because we are so lucky to get to see each and every one of these fabulous animals on a daily basis (well.. the bear we try to avoid, but occasionally we do see them (in our garage...yippes!)...

Anyway here is a bit about September Vhay from her website "Her work is classic in subject matter and technique—a bear, two coyotes running, a trumpeter swan—and at the same time modern in her composition and minimal approach. Backgrounds drop away so that her muted earthen palette can evoke the very essence of an animal. Her paintings are realistic in form and detail, yet they possess an impressionistic aura as well, a looseness that adds a sensitive dimension."

She currently has an exhibit at Trio Fine Art here in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. All photos above are compliments of September Vhay's website...

Don't forget about the giveaway! For all of you that have entered - thank you! For those that haven't, you have till Monday to get those tweets, posts and entries in! Good luck!

{DIY} Valentines Day Treats!

These are from a past post I did about 2 years ago, but since this week has been more than crazy busy (1. volunteering for the Special Olympics - amazing! 2. getting ready for a show I am in on Sunday selling my goodies 3. working really hard on some Real Estate deals, whoohoo, my fingers are crossed!) so, in trying not to forget about all you wonderful readers, I decided to run with an old post, but a real good and easy one!

Idea came from the lovely Lily and Co. gals when I used to work there, it's a fun way to dress up some Hersey's bars and give them to friends and coworkers for that sweet treat valentine. Creativity is your friend with these, so use some glitter, fun ribbon and paper and voila!

Please forgive me for the lack of my visits to all of your lovely sites - I promise to be back in action on Monday for a great giveaway! - so stay tuned!

Festive tops for Valentines day

I got home last night from the city and am so sad! I had such a fantastic time... ate great food (and lots of it), walked the city and spent some much needed time with my best lady Em. I didn't take as many photos as I thought I would, but I guess that just means there was no time in the fun to stop and take some shots! In lieu of city photos, I have been hit in the heart with Valentines spirit, and thought some love posts would be fun. So, to start - maybe a red shirt for the day, or any day really? Here are some ideas...

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Manhattan bound!

I will be spending Friday cruising around the city on my own, because Em is a workin' girl and well, she has to work - soo, what are your favorite spots/shoppes/restaurants/eye candy spots I must see!? Fill me in, I love recommendations! I return home Monday evening so... till then, bon voyage!
