OOOH! Today I helped an elderly woman bring her groceries inside...she was really struggling and was so happy to be able to help her! She hugged me and repeatedly said thank you! Although it wasn't a big thing for me, it was obviously very helpful for her. Small acts of kindness really make you feel good!

How lovely.. and how fun for you to read all the great entries! Today I met with a friend and past colleague who is launching her own business. You better believe I offered to share her fabulousness on my blog and twitter and how ever else I can to help get her fabulous product out there :) x

This is such a great idea! I just finished writing a blog post for tomorrow about a charity that's very important to one of my blog friends. I love being able to use any online presence I have to celebrate causes important to people.

Best giveaway ever, Padgett. My good deed was going out in the rain to pick up lunch for everyone in my office at an Indian Restaurant. I also sent holiday cards for my friend who works with an organization in Ghana that gives a home to children with AIDS/HIV. And I'm packaging up some holiday treats for friends. There's nothing I love more than giving -- holidays or not.

Such a fun giveaway! Perfect for Christmas!
Every Christmas my girls and I adopt a family. They are families that can't afford presents and so we buy presents for all the kids and something special for the parents. It helps my kids understand that not everyone is as blessed as they are and they love being able to buy for kids their age.
Happy Holidays to you and yours Padgett!

What an awesome idea!! I'm adopting a family this year with five children, a grandchild and a mom who's out of work due to a back surgery. Can't wait to shower them with gifts!!

You are a doll. What a great idea! My mom and I made gingersnap cookies to send overseas to the troops! Hopefully it will bring some holiday cheer to all of them.

Oh... I didn't even know you were doing this when I did my RAOK yesterday. :) I went through my bins of Christmas decor and decided I was going to donate what wasn't really my style anymore. Before donating the goodies, I put a note on our neighbor's door telling her she could go through the box and pick out what she wanted. The next day, I had a note on my door saying she took the whole box and thanked me very much. I was glad I could give it to someone who really appreciated it.

It totally is almost more fun to read everyone else's ideas! I did it P you would have been so proud, I was at the Nordstrom Cafe and bought the person behind me's coffee!!! It is fun, and I have donated every time I have bought something to St. Judes Children's Hospital!
